hey pple, how are you all doing?..I finally passed out of BMT..with a plethora of feelings for me because, firstly, although im glad i completed the course, i also miss the fun I had in BMT. My company won the games day and drill squad competitions, and I was glad to be part of them. The cheering I did reminded me of that time Walter and I along with Furen, El, Szeyin and some others, cheering for Xiong at the tennis finals..and the time teck drove us to the girls basketball finals to cheer for them. But, it was more than just the winning, the cock we talked, weapons handling and field camps, comaraderie we built through the weeks. On a more solemn note, I think by now you must have known about the incident about the passing of an enlistee in BMTC. It was in the mainstream news I think. I saw the helicopter landing to heli-evacuate the guy, but i didnt have time to see the guy at all...the helicopter just stopped on the ground for such a long time, that in the back of my mind, I was thinking, its either the people there are super inefficient, or something had gone really wrong...which so turned out to be the latter. I'm not here to speculate anything, just recounting what i saw...but maybe we could remind ourselves from this incident to take care of ourselves constantly, to prevent such tragedies from ever occurring.
