dear kids, pls treasure money your parents give you. cos it's really hard-earned!

hee working has been really tough and tiring.
1) you've to work from 9-5pm. and i wake up especially early to prevent myself from turning into sardine.
2) you need to know how to multi-task. i have to answer the call, register patients, fax info, find case files and dispense medicine at the same time! and it's really difficult. cos you have to be fast and efficient
3) you've to deal with horrible patients. today was especially bad. cos the clinic had this patient who wanted to see the doc urgently. so he exaggerated his arrival time. says he has waited for 1 hour but our system says 15 mins. we register them upon arrival. BUT he wasnt in pain or anything. so i told him he has to be fair to other patients and apologise for his wait. he scolded me! and spoke some vulgarities in hokkien. lucky i dont really understand hokkien. only some words.
and guess wat. the nurses rmb him for being rude and impatient. so im just being extremely suai today. cos his follow-up occurs like once in 6 months.
and you've to answer horrible calls. pick up the phone and patients start scolding you for nothing.
hehee but i've gotten used to this
4) you've to be quick-minded. really know how to react under different circumstances independently.

really admire pple in the service line. great spirit!

but i've learnt many things. to really handle tough pple with a smile. and make them smile back (: haha. and of course learn more abt anatomy and stuff in OT. and learn to do paperwork/admin stuff etc

now, i really really really miss sch! i rather go back. do tests, assignments etc. i really dont mind having tests every single day of the week. i mean REALLY. i really miss that kind of life.

but life moves on. so pple, do find a job and really experience. hehee. you really need to try in order to understand. and TREASURE your parents' money.

and to guys going NS. you guys have fun and take care! be good, be careful. and be strong when hardships come your way. embrace challenges and just bear with it. 2 years will pass really quickly!

for me, i cant wait to start uni. to become a student again! yipee!

i really need some rest now. haha.

sorry for all this ranting. just a super bad day for me.
